Duane, tablet support was one reason we installed a Vulcan 7. Worked well for that purpose. The 7 doesn't support radar though.

Zeus 3 and Tablet
I'm working on a new electronics suite for Wanderer and I'm wondering how good the connection between a Zeus 3 at the helm and a tablet below would be.
I would like to be able to keep watch on

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] INSURANCE update - still asking me to pay premium after boat sunk.
Good morning Greg,
I paid once a year at the beginning of the insurance year (October for me).
I was likely to move to Y yachts, we had been in communication.

I agree with Bill. Our 54 has normal centre line double berth which is redundant on passage despite Lee boards.

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Berth conversion
Well that was my concern. It looks good on the new modern boats but is it practical if you are going to sail it. Be nice to still be able to wedge against the bulkhead when its rough.

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Berth conversion
Jay,
I had that nightmare once.😀 I don't want to be rude, but the very best advice I can give to you, or anyone considering an Amel is wait until you own your Amel for a year before you start

Alexandre,
I was wondering if you paid all of the annual premium at the beginning of the insurance year or were you paying it month by month? I used to have Helvetia, I now have Y Yachts.

How to repair holes left by old electronics at nav station
I have a Furuno GP7000 at the nav station that I'm going to replace with an ICOM M506-21 VHF radio (also has AIS RX and is N2K compliant). This seemed like a good choice since it will be an AIS
