This SM was sailed to Trimidad when no more than 2 or 3 years old. The owner was from California. He became ill and passed away. It is owned by his estate which has been incapable of making any decisions except to continue to pay storage for 13 years. It has suffered from rat infestations, eating much of the wiring. It is covered in mold outside to the top of the Mizzen. It is also covered in mold inside. It is completely worthless. If you are searching to buy a SM, there are other options. Don't give this SM any consideration. I do Pre-Purchase Consulting. If anyone attempted to hire me for this boat, I would refuse the job. I believe the boat you are asking about was in Trinidad in the summer of 2016 when we were last there, and even looking fairly sad then. If the rumor I heard is correct, it is owned by someone from the West Coast of the US who passed away some time ago.

Hi All, I'm replacing the yanmar 4jh3-the eng mounts. It looks like I need to lift the eng frame 2 inches. There is a rubber boot that connects to the hull at the bottom of the C drive. If I disconnect the hose clamps at the top of that rubber boot will any oil spill out and will that allow me to lift the frame up.

Hi , Here are some photos that might be helpful to change the motor mounts. The middle photo shows how I removed the coupling from the sail drive it is a very tight fit and when I installed the Amel modified coupling I took a few thousands of an inch from the inside of the coupling. The C drive shaft and the coupling are the exact same diameter. The other photos show the bolts that are used to reconnect the coupling. Fair Winds Eric
