Leaking deck hatch latch
Hi all, It’s worth mentioning there is a washer between the spring and the o-ring: 10mm x 13mm x 0.5mm. Many of them were broken in pieces when I replaced the o-rings. Here’s a picture of the relevant

A54 and later models - Mainmast vertical electric furling motor
Yes. Amel says 2 years on the lip seal. I suggest the same on the hex bolt seal. Best, CW Bill Rouse Amel Owners Yacht School +1 832-380-4970 | brouse@... 720 Winnie, Galveston Island, Texas 775

Bill. It seems that the design of the A54 main mast furling motor has changed at some point. Mine on Antinea A54 #43 is horizontal. Unfortunately Amel seems not recalling that as I have just received

A54 and later models - Mainmast vertical electric furling motor
Perhaps a stupid question, but to change the seal and o-ring, it’s just to lower the motor, turn it outside a bit and change the seal and o-ring ? What’s the advised years they need to replaced ?

BOW THRUSTER .Replacement cover does not align
I am not sure why there have been some fitting issues with these parts, but there have been. Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THE OLD COVER. The old cover will appear to work but will misalign the new gear

A54 backstay and staysail and genaker blocks
Hi Ruslan, I have not experienced any problems with twisting in practice, maybe it untwists itself when under load. Also, I would not be happy with the diagonal run from jammer to chain-plate and late

Hi Mark, The Jaycar unit is a complete switch. It's slightly different construction to the original - probably not as good hence so much cheaper. The cap is integral with the button...if you unscrew t

Shaft generator doesn’t load
Roland, What is the current voltage of the batteries? If it is VERY, VERY low then there might not be enough voltage to generate the required field current. I think this is unlikely, but possible. Oth
