Maramu locker door mishap
It does indeed look like there is a small rubber insert in the top rubber track. Many thanks Rainer and Wade for the tip - saved me likely damaging the door by brute force. Yet again - great forum Man

Cabin sole revarnishing
Thanks Matt 👍 Ok so it looks like a heat gun is the best bet for removal. The boats on a mooring so perhaps best to wait a while till I’ve got shore power for the job. I’ll probably take a floor hatch

Furuno Weather Fax do not get much and have switched to Navtex but to be frank the internet apps are more practical. Depends where you are.
I love mine and have been using it daily across the North Atlantic trip to Azores. Great images from Boston and now Northwood. Very easy to use - just leave it running and check it in the forecast sch

Guests and engine controls!
Thanks Nick My voltage across service and start batteries is 14+V when the motor is on so I therefore presume that means the 2 alternators are still working ok and I managed to avoid diode damage 🤞 Ou

Thanks for that Bill I wondered about that so have checked alternator output by simply checking charge voltage at the batteries. That still seems to be a good output voltage and I’m unsure of any furt
