Lithium Batteries under Consideration
Hi Nick, Sounds like the lead batteries definitely help the list problem! Good analysis, and I tend to agree about it being marginal for part-time cruising. I have a good solar capability, and I'm sur

Thanks Brent, The problem I've found is that Transporter Energy don't supply the 24V battery model. They only supply the 12V battery. I've seen good reviews of the Battleborn product in this forum and

A question to the hive mind re Amel 54 (Sleipner side power) Bow thruster capacitor please.
Porter, There is also a possibility that the component is not a capacitor. It could be a varistor. If so, it may be a little more difficult to source. Hopefully Sleipner will wake up soon! Cheers Dean

A question to the hive mind re Amel 54 (Sleipner side power) Bow thruster capacitor please.
Hi Porter, Is (was) there only one capacitor in the system? Seems like a 4-brush motor might have at least one more. If so, maybe you can carefully lift one leg off and measure it? I would surmise tha
