SM Prop Shaft Seal direction and Bush
I want to report my experience with the shaft seals and bushing. When I bought my SM2000 278, It had its seal and bushing replaced and the seals oriented as recommended by AMEL. In less than 2 seasons

Thomson Washer major water flooding !!!
Thanks a lot for the suggestion Mark I completely agree that it is worth changing the pump and, even if it is not the problem, most likely it will be in a few years. I found it in sale and even after

Mizzen stay sail
Paul, I am glad you asked about this. I have had the same problem when sailing Ipanema on a port broad reach. I like the idea of using the boom to keep the sheet away from the ladder. That should work

I have two sets of questions: 1) My rotary drive has failed. I makes sounds as if it is receiving the signal but the wheel does not turn. Is it a failing clutch? If that is the problem can it be repai

Alexander, Answer is yes to both. Obviously in the water you cannot pull the the bow thruster "foot" unless you dive. I pulled the rod that links the motor to the foot of the truster. Glad the pix was
