That's right, the MASS light is lit up when I go to the "+" side. There is 25-26v if I touch one multimeter lead to the pump body and the other to battery negative. Currently I've disconnected the bon

Thanks Bill, you're likely right. But I am going to reach out to Marco to see what they say. I wanted to open it but the manual clearly states that the warranty becomes void if I try to service it!

Engine room lining on Amel 54

Batteries: copper bars will not work - be sure that you have jumpers to wire the pairs in series
I see the point in using jumper wires but for those with or contemplating lithium: I would suggest using copper bars. When I changed to lithium, the electrician installed jumper wires between the 12v

washing machine and dryer for Amel 54
I replaced my washing machine with a Beko 6kg 1000rpm one that I found in Spain. It barely fits, but the nice thing is that it's 50% more capacity than the original Bosch. Securing it was a pain but p

It appears the new Amel 60 is going with 720ah of lithium batteries and as a result getting an electric oven and induction cooking. https://www.wilkinsonmarine.com/store/p115/AMEL_60.html Thoughts? As

Arno, The small cycles don't really bother lithium. Granted this is only one biased source but I've seen plenty of other non-biased sources stating the same. https://gwl-power.tumblr.com/post/13070190

Dean, I'll try to write something up over the next week or so. Honestly, I'm very particular about my battery bank since it wasn't cheap and I only get nervous when it goes below 25% state of charge.

Paul, You should try to run one of the AC units on battery for a few hours one night. Once the room is cooled (aft cabin in our case), the compressor duty cycle is 25-35% in my experience. Of course,

I am not familiar with the sizing on the Mastervolt inverter/chargers, but for Victron their 8000va model was too heavy for my piece of mind. Agree with you on keeping the genset. I rarely run it but
