Hello Maramu Owners, The hot water valve spline is stripped and I can't find a replacement valve. Can anyone advise where to find a replacement valve or a suitable replacement faucet? Thanks Dennis Jo

Reefing and sail-handling on conventionally rigged Maramu, versus electric furling?
Hi Paul, If you have been reading this site for a while, you will have seen entries regarding the repair/maintenance of the motors and/or rigging of the electrical furling systems. Don't get me wrong,

Hi James, I believe you have a shaft alternator right? Try disconnecting the belt and see if the squeak stops. We had a squeak and it was the alternator bearings. Dennis Libertad Maramu #121

Maramu - Goiot Y-Track Mizzen Car Repair
Jeremy, You created a nice alternative BUT. It looks like you used steel washers. The original washers were aluminum as is the rest of the car. Using dissimilar metals is inviting galvanic corrosion.

I was impacted by this issue in many marinas as well. The problem as I recall is due to a formula that USCG uses to compute your Gross and Net. The formula is based on the length, width, and depth. Yo
