Could you please let me know where I could purchase the rebuild a Fresh Water Pump Reya A66B and its rebuild kit ? (Unless I am mistaking, this is the fresh water pump that provides water to galley, heads, etc. from the water tank). Also, how about the pressure plate, where could I purchase a spare? I was really looking for the same pump that I have now. Mine works fine, but will be travelling, etc. I already have a spare expansion vase. Isn't there some sort of adjustment on the pump? I need to go down and look, may be take pictures. Sincerely, Alexanadre -------------------------------------------- On Thu, 8/8/13, Richard03801 <richard03801@...> wrote:

I bought a rebuild kit from Amel. In 2011 you could buy it at http://www.reya.com/shop.php I am not sure that it is still available there. With care, that pump will last 3 to 5 times longer than a Jabsco pump. Our pump is 10 years old. I have replaced the accumulator tank, the pressure switch and the key on the impeller. I thought you had a kit for this pump. Bill BeBe --- In amelyachtowners@..., Alexandre Uster von Baar <uster@...> wrote:

The Pressure switch is a common water pressure switch made by Square D. I bought the one I used for replacement on eBay. If you are still in Kemah, ask someone to give you directions to a water well shop. They will have accumulator tanks, pressure switches, and some common parts like a mechanical seal (A66B uses a 3/8", yes "inch" mechanical seal. The hard part of replacing the switch is adjusting the cut/on and duration adjustments. If you go to a water well store tell them that the pump will pressurize to about 34 pounds and you need to adjust the switch for that. They may know an easy way to get it adjusted, otherwise some trial and error. Bill BeBe --- In amelyachtowners@..., Richard03801 <richard03801@...> wrote:
