On my SM 140 Sula we have a remote Onan starting switch by the watermaker controls in the galley. The other day I noticed that the orange light in this switch was permanently on whilst the generator was running...sweetly as usual. I have scoured my operators manual and the net to try to find out what this light is indicating but can not find anything. Clearly it is a warning of some sort but I don't know what. Can anyone help?
Given that the Genny still runs beautifully I am assuming there is a fault in the warning system but not knowing which system I am being warned about makes fixing difficult.
