Hi Peter A number of us have been in touch with Riza since seeing the nice job he did for Bill on BeBe. I have ordered one and it should be delivered in the next 2 weeks all the way to Brisbane Australia at a competitive price even after freight from Turkey to Australia. Also I am aware that Alan (M/V Elyses) has done the same and that was delivered to him in New Zealand just 2 weeks back and he is delighted with the quality too. Both he and I will have 3 x 200w solar panels mounted so can't wait to get that free current coming through to our batteries. Riza has been an absolute pleasure to deal with and is highly recommended to all on this site. I have copied his contact details here below for you to get in touch with him. Please note I am not associated with him in any way, just recommended him based on the experience of others and his dealings with myself. The davit arch comes ready to fit to the stern of your Amel with all bolts and everything so you could do it yourself with perhaps just a little help from a local machine shop. Good luck with it. Jer, I should be the one to answer this because Emek had only done a 54 arch before they designed one for BeBe, a Super Maramu. I think the proof is in the result. Photos at: sorry---there are duplicates in these two folders which I need to clean up. I assume that you plan to go to Turkey to have it done. After Emek had completed the arch on BeBe and several other SMs, they designed the version that could be shipped. I believe that they need a Maramu at their location to be able to make the first one. I am quite interested in the Solar Arch but my wife I think is less convinced - thinking that it may upset the overall appearance of the boat. I see a lot of pictures close up on the detail of the Arch but I wonder if anyone has a picture taken from a distance that they could post so that one can get an overall profile of the Super Maramu with Emek ‘s Arch fitted?

Hi While the arch undoubtedly looks great don't think the rail mount is not worth considering. Five years ago we put two panels on the rail to see how it went with the intention of, at a later date going to an arch. The rail has been so satisfactory we haven't changed.
