Try Skype, Jeff.  It's reliable, great sound, dirt cheap.  I never make an international call any other way.  I've even got it on my cell phone...you dont even need to carry your computer.

I'm on LI,NY.
While I appreciate the skype idea, I have to admit that I've never gone there before. I'll stick with the email or phone route, and hope it works.
