Hey there!
One of my Mizzen Sheet Cars has died on me - the center disk just shattered when using it last sail. its a odd ‘Y’ shaped track and any replacement or part advice would be awesome! -- Jeremy Hermanns - "Jer" SVCerulean.com Maramu #105 Marina Del Rey, CA

Hi Jeremy, I had a failure just like yours and it was no problem and not very expensive to have a machine shop produce a new disk and pin. Dennis Libertad Maramu #121

Dennis is correct.
No problem to order a machine shop for a new disk. Often the pin is still OK. I have changed all disks. -- Gerhard Mueller Amel Sharki #60 Currently Kalamata, Greece

I have also taken this approach with a machine shop

Interested to know how people approached it as originally if was an interference fit How did you reassemble the disk onto the pin? As a temp measure I used a 8 or 10mm (can’t remember which) Cotter pin Worked well and easy to lift from above. All the best Miles 162 uk

Miles, I delivered the entire car assembly to the machine shop, explained how it was supposed to work and they machined a new pin and disk which worked perfectly. (actually I could have several made for the same price, so I did). Dennis

I just took the pin so now will have to press fit the lifting washer in place. Mulgrips will be my friend All the best Miles
