I am using the same setup that was on my old Yanmar. I just had to take off the serpentine belt and change the pulleys to accommodate a V belt. Since the alternator that came with the new engine was not an isolated ground and I did not want to use it as I have a spare from the old engine.

I also swapped the senders from the old engine to the new engine. Amazingly when I plugged in the harnesses, it all worked.

Hi Eric,

   In case you need a new tensioning bracket for this alternator and engine, I found that the Balmar Belt Buddy w/Universal Adjustment Arm fits and works fine. I just had to "invert" it and move the tensioning hardware to the other side of the bracket.  I bought mine on amazon but all major ships chandlers sell it.

I can't tell you if it is correct or not but this is the way it was when I bought the boat in 2017.
