Galley sink drains
ianjenkins1946 <ianjudyjenkins@hotmail.com>
Can I assume that everyone has a plastic washing up bowl in their galley sinks ? Its use reduces the volume of washing up water , saves the sink surface from being chipped by a careless saucepan and , not least , if you have really dirty washing up (a fish
supper maybe) you can either tip the bowl overboard or down the head.

Fresh water and washing up liquid does the head no harm.
Failing that , in England young mothers use a product called Milton to sterilise babies’ bottles . Does a great job on an Amel bilge as well.

Not easy to play with the grey water tank for the kitchen sink . When you have a boat like A 55 to think for a direct sea cock is a true subject . I am studying it . Amel 55#63
