Cherry D45X micro switch for Bowtruster #replacement

EricOpdeweegh

Dear Amelians

Last week one of the micro switches  on the pcb  of  my bowtruster failed. It just does not click anymore and cleaning the contacts did not make it work again.
The spring apparently weakened.
It is not to hard to replace the switch but I can't find the right one.
We have asked Maud at SAV, she came back to us very quicky but could not help us this time. Seems they do not any in stock anymore

.

Does any one know where to get this specific micro switch D45X from manufacturer "Cherry". 16(4) / 250  - 15A 1/2HP - 12.5 -25C VAC
See enclosed photos.

There are a lot of micro switches around on the internet but I can 't find the specific one with the two connectors under 90 degree angle and the third one under neath.

We have Super Maramu  158 (1996)
Bowtruster  Leroy Somer/ TF 15 /6.3kW/480A/24V  - Serial no 718624/25

Looking forward to help to order a few of these micro switches.

Eric Opdeweegh,

Mal gave you some good advice. When you find the actual part number and its source, please post it in the Group and CC me.

CHERRY is now ZF, exactly the same Micro Switches.
I did a bit of study and the Manufactures Code Should be D459-P4RA?
Contact RS Components they should be able to help you further (help all of US as this could be a new common replacement switch once we find the RS Part Number).
ZF State not all combinations are available, that code is just what i worked out myself from your Switch number and the ZF Data Sheet it's not on RS website, but if available they could order it in as RS obviously wont hold all the 1,000's of different Micro Switches!
The type you are after with those connectors is called 'PCB Terminal' for Printed Circuit Boards.

Just for example to show you a PCB Micro Switch (*this switch is Wrong Amperage and it doesn't have the Roller Lever)

Just for Example this is the Short Roller Lever, you just need this switch with PCB Terminals and you're laughing:)

Let us know how you get on;)

Will do Bill.
This is going to be off value to all of the SM owners with this type of bowtruster Pcb.
I am surprised it has not been an issue solved earlier.
