Dave, That is not original.
What is on the underside? You should be able to see the
underside from the locker.

David, I think that was added by a PO and is probably an outlet for a chain wash. Bill
While trying to find the source of the water in my forward bilge (still looking) I ran across this fitting on my deck just forward of the windlass. I invested enough time just staring at it to realize that I am not going to figure out what it is for without some help. This is on my SM 2000 and it looks like an original factory fitting.
