If you are looking forย a project thatย willย benefit hundreds of Amel SN & SM owners, this email is for you.

I believe all of the repair kits have been sold by Mr. Vignando. He may have some pieces, but I am told the motors are sold out. That Amel Genoa motor was made by several sources, including ISKRA, LETRIKA, and MAHLE. It was 12 volts in Santorins and 24 volts in SMs.

There are no more motors that I know of and Mr. Vignando sold all that he had in his garage. I believe that without too much troubleย that a motor from a windlass will fit and work. The 2 windlass motors I have seen that might work are from Lofrans and Lewmar.

More Info:ย

I am hoping some SN or SM owner might take this project.
