Best Amel Rigger in Europe

I am sure there are good Amel riggers in Europe.

I know Nicky Sammut from Malta is one of them. I have recommended Nicky to dozens of Amel owners. Every time I recommend Nicky, I get a really nice thank you from the owner.

Information:

Did you know that Nicky regularly crews on an Amel 64

Nicky Samut is the right tool and in addition to being extremely friendly, he really cares about our needs

Friendly and very, very competent guy.

Keep going with him.

Nicky - of Malta fame - inspected my rig, yesterday. He was extremely thorough and already knew exactly what to look for vs the rigging of this boat. I can't recommend him highly enough. I also learned a lot about what I was doing wrong when ascending the mast myself.

Big issue! The bolt that fixes the pin for my triatic and main backstay was missing. Could have been de-masted at any time. About ten other issues I will need to fix.

My forty year old rig is in miraculously good condition for its age but it will need replacing soon. My Atlantic crossing cannot be done with this old rig. We will have to fly to Panama.

I asked Nicky about ACMO rigging. He thought that it held up better than the steel from the Scandinavian manufacturers.

Thank you for all the recommendations  I do think that I will be gettng Nicky to re-rig my boat.

Nicky just replaced all of our rigging in the marina at our winter berth. He had replaced the shrouds on the main 3 years ago. He also had done some misc work when we hauled out in Malta 5 years ago. The same professional, competent, knowledgeable and hard working guy I had come to know. Highly recommend. It was important for us to be 100% confident in our rig.

Respectfully;
