Bow Thruster Travel Question

Paul Stascavage

Thank you Jeff and Bill.

You have confirmed that we are in the same boat and I don't have to make any adjustments.

All the best,

Hi Paul,
I'm not an expert, but I just serviced my bow-thruster and I noticed that when it is fully down it sits on the foam doughnut with a very slight slack in the cable.  I think this is correct and makes sense to me as it would give the best seal.

Good day all.

I am sure this is on the forum somewhere, but I have not been able to find it.

I know the proper landing location for the up position, but as far as the down position is concerned:

Should the BT rest on the foam doughnut with slack in the cable, or should it land at or just above the foam doughnut with tension on the cable?

Thank you in advance for your thoughts and comments.
