Help need: what is the right one

Hi Amelians, I need your precious help for finding the solution to my question. I’m the happy owner of a Santorin; some days ago, during a manoveur, I broke the piece you can see in photo 1 . This is the joint between pole and little pole I had on starboard side. I called for a person who could have made it new. But when I looked on the port side, I found out that the configuration is the one you can see in photo n. 2; the broken piece isn’t there. What I need to know is which configuration is the right one ? May be that another Santorin’s owner can send me a photo of his little pole ? I really hope that someone could give me a good suggestion. Photo 1 is NOT original equipment. Photo 2 IS the original equipment.
