Eric, That’s one of the ones on my short list. I haven’t been able to get a quote for it yet. Dometic has a million dealers, but not all of them carry this particular line, which I think Dometic picked up when they bought MaireAir. |

Hi Bill, I installed a 10K btu Dometic 50/60 cycle unit in the saloon. It took me 3 hours. You just have to remove the board and foam that the old AC unit was mounted on. Fair Winds Eric Kimberlite Amel Super Maramu #376

It might be time for us to replace our saloon air conditioner. This is a difficult fitment. It needs to be no more than 12" (305 mm) high, which takes a lot of units out of the running. Mermaid in Florida used to make one, but they have recently gone under.
