Buying fuel in Ambon Indonesian
Hi Guys does anyone know if there is a dockside fuel point in Ambon Harbour? Or is it jerry cans to the local gas stations.

Bob, This information is at Noonsite.com which was Last updated in July 2017. I assume not a lot of activity at Ambon Harbour. The Marine Police dock and station here (approx. 03 38.3811 S / 128 14.3379 E) have a dock that they may permit you to use for dinghy landing. The Police may also be able to assist with fuel. An alternative to anchoring in the harbour is to anchor in the bay to the east of Passo. This is a large sandy bay with depths from five to 10 meters. Access to Ambon is excellent using the local minivan transport (“bemos”). BTW, we have a presentation to the Amel Yacht Owners Group by the editor of Noonsite.com on Nov 17, 2022, 18:00 Greenwich Mean Time. When Judy and I were sailing around the world we found Noonsite to be the most complete source of information and the most reliable, Bill
