Foredeck alarm
Paul Dowd and Sharon Brown
Hi all,
I have someone looking after by boat and he has reported a beeping alarm coming from the foredeck locker. I guess its either the anchor or furler electrics. Would anyone know what it is and what needs to be done?

Could be a low voltage alarm from a Boxtron unit. If it is, batteries need charging. Also, you should probably review your DC power management while you are away. Paul,
This happened to me during my first winter storage. It wasn't flat batteries, and I couldn't put my finger on exactly what caused it. The boatyard reported some electrical storm activity around the time, so that could be related. Anyway, now I always turn off the breakers when storing the boat and it hasn't happened again! 🤔 Dean SV Stella A54-154

Thanks to all for your advice, I have asked my boat sitter to trip them.
