I AM ONE OF YOU AT LAST

Geoff Kidd

G'day All,

I am pleased to advise that I have moved from being a 2 or 3 year "lurker" to a "smirker", as Billy has sold me his A55 #56 "CODER", soon to be renamed ONYX.

And it's not really a smirk, more like an understated grin whenever I think about her.

She is in Long Island Sound NY and I am on the farm in Wagga Wagga, NSW, leaving to join her on Tuesday.

I look forward to trying to contribute meaningfully to this fantastic community ........... and an effusive thank you to Bill for his assistance, and for his Admin of this site.

Regards Geoff

Nice work Geoff.
We are currently under way near Batemans Bay, heading north for Sydney and Gold Coast.
Enjoy your sailing

Hi Geoff

I am still a lurker from Melbourne. I was watching your new boat (ex-name Coder) for some time. I watched her videos many times but financially couldn’t be ready. She is a great boat. Happy to hear she is now owned by an Aussie. I wish you good luck and happy days with her.

Cheers.

Dennis

Geoff,

We already have communicated regarding A55 #56. She was well cared for by her original owner who bought the 55 shortly after spending time on our SM. He and his family took good care of her. Billy has taken unbelievable care of her. I believe you will have the best air conditioner system of all 55s as a result of what Billy did.

If I can help, let me know.

Bill

CONGRATULATIONS!!! We had our eye on CODER before buying CHRISTINE (aka Infinity) but the pandemic prevented us from crossing the border… and perhaps we were fated for #29 in Turkey!

Enjoy!

Thanks Bill and to those that have commented .......... and thanks again to Billy ... will do my best to keep her in good nick.

G'day Ruslan. The plan is to have no specific plans, other than to get to know her in Long Island Sound, anchor off the Statue of Liberty, "do" all the nice spots around LI Sound, cruise Maine and Nova Scotia, then slowly head south ready for the Carribean at the end of the year. Where are you based?

Im nearby in Norwalk CT at the moment. When you go through the East river, look up Hell's gate, you want to time it right.
