Lignes de vie sur super maramu 2000

Bonjour à tous, je conserverais installer des lignes de vie sur "vanille" sm2000 de 2004...
Je pense les réaliser en surgaine dyneema de 10/12 MM... Je ne trouve pas un "chemin" sur le pont qui soit suffisamment au centre du bateau et qui nécessiterait éventuellement de passer du cokpit à l'étrave ou à la poupe sans devoir décrocher le mousqueton de mon harnais... Est-ce que l'un d'entre nous à trouvé la bonne solution à ce problème ? Merci beaucoup pour vos conseils... |

Bonjour Stephane, Sur mon Santorin, j’ai installé deux lanières de 2 cms de largeur avec un piont de rupture certifié de 1,5 tonnes. Il y en a donc une a bâbord et bien sûr, une à tribord. Cette lanière est toutefois sujette aux UV. Elle est en poste depuis deux ans et est toujours très solide. Un « chemin » sur le pont suffisamment au centre du bateau nécessite deux cordages, un de chaque côté des mâts. La plupart des gens les installent sur les ponts bâbord et tribord, mais ils peuvent être installés de chaque côté des mâts. Rangez-les lorsqu'ils ne sont pas utilisés en raison des dommages potentiels causés par les UV. Bill

J'attends d'être convaincu que le centre des lignes de sauvetage du bateau est la solution.
J'ai le ruban traditionnel de l'archet à l'arrière de chaque côté afin que je sois toujours coupé. Ce que je m'assure, c'est que la ligne de mousqueton est si courte que je ne peux pas passer sur le côté. Si vous avez une ligne plus longue attachée à une ligne de sauvetage centrale, que se passe-t-il lorsque vous arrivez à l'avant étroit du bateau ? I wait to be convinced that centre of the boat lifelines are the solution. I have the traditional tape from bow to stern on each side so that I am always clipped on. What I do ensure is that the carabiner line is so short that I cannot go over the side. Sorry for the late response. We have just sailed from Australia to NZ and have been in mostly poor internet coverage since. We pondered the same question as yourself a little while ago and the best compromise we could come up with is what we installed. That is, the traditional lines down the decks from bow to stern, but with also an extra two lines from bow to the deck pad eye in front of the dodger (where the mizzen ballooner attaches), running either side of the mast. We made ours with tape instead of line, in order to eliminate roll hazard underfoot. This system works for us. It enables me to stay clipped to the centre line of the boat if I am working near the mast. Not perfect, but the best we could come up with. -- Rob & Dee SV Jaygo. SM#224 |

This may be of interest to those who have full length life lines running down either side of the deck.
It is used in climbing either as an adjustable belay line or on a via ferrata as the safety line. It is adjustable in length so you can shorten it tightly the lifeline so you cant go overboard, and be lengthened easily if you need more room to work. It is a simple cam that pulls and locks, or upset the cam by hand and you can lengthen the line again. This one is made by Petzl called a ‘connect adjust’.
