Polytrol

Can someone tell me how much Polytrol it will take to treat a A54 faux teak deck?

Hi Bill, applying it with a rag and rubbing it in well I used 1/2 a litre to do all the decks, hatches and cockpit on Ocean Pearl an SM. Result was excellent. I \think it wise not to apply it too thickly as I think it could be sticky.
Kind Regards

Thin Thin Thin !!!!

It’s also written on the can. “Apply thin”.

Someone else put it too thick on the red stripe of our A54 and it turned out to be desastreus.

Very difficult to get it off again once dry. And the red stripe we still could sand and polish it off but on the deck that will be impossible!

With this experience we’re very cautious to put it on the deck.

We put it on and just a minute later wipe all away before it’s dried.

Never checked the amount we use.
