Sharki - Cockpit Table Ideas?
Mike & Karen <svOdyssea@...>
Hello all! First post by owners of a recently purchased Sharki, which doesn't have a decent table in the cockpit. There is what I believe to be a mounting bracket for one, just below the mizzen mast.
We are looking for recommendations of other's designs or a fabricator near the central East Coast area that someone has had good experience with. Cheers! Karen and Mike |

We recently installed the Legun bracket shown below and built a small cocktail table to mount on it. We have seen it on several other boats. So far we like it. Good morning from windy Cornwall UK . This is Sea Hobo's table. Not very elegant but seats six close friends. I presume original. Mark Porter Sea Hobo Sharki #96 River Tamar UK

This is what I found (photo 2) on my recently purchased Sharki Manua (N° 68 of 1982), besides the original larger cockpit table (photo 1).
This beautiful table fits on the same support of the original table and still allows to move in the cockpit. It folds on a single leg and is hold horizontal by the mainsheet cleat. It is good for 2 persons. |
