This email will work: All SM & SN owners who have an Amel Genoa that looks like this:  There are currently only a few rebuild kits with no motors available for 2500 Swiss Franks plus shipping. When these are gone, they are gone. The alternative for you is to replace it with a FACNOR electric furler for about 12,000 €. I urge you to consider this carefully because when they are gone, they are gone forever. You must communicate with him in French only. I do not know him well enough to vouch for him, but he is elderly and slow to respond. It will be a little frustrating. Patience and tenacity will help. He is the only person who has these parts. In the past several years I have recommended him to other SM owners who have purchased parts and even a complete Genoa Furler (the complete furlers are gone). When the parts are gone, they are gone. If it were me, I would buy these even if I did not need them today, and even if I never needed them because they will always be worth what you paid for them to other Amel owners. Bill

On Bill's suggestion I bought a spare genoa furler gear from M. Vignando last November . He is very courteous but does benefit from gentle nudges .

I bought a set of parts from M. Vignando as well, and yes, after a rather difficult start to the discussion, it eventually proceeded smoothly and we have all the parts tucked away on Elyse just in case we should ever need them.
