and a Victron 24-48 volt power supply. There are cheaper alternatives, but I like the blue tooth capability. 

i basically took the advice of the others in the Starlink for Boats FB page. 

i haven’t done the conversion yet, but will likely do it as the standard configuration is a power hog. 

This is the current standard procedure for powering dishy from the house bank and using a different modem. Keep in mind this is for a12 volt house bank. We would need a 24 to 48 volt power supply. I found one on Amazon. And also bought a blue tooth Victron Supply.
